17 Best Tiktok Recipes

Nowadays the world of Tiktok has made the chances of content going viral. Dances, challenges, and recipes don’t seem to have escaped the world’s reliance on social media.

Getting to try some delicious dishes is one great outcome of this virality. Today we are bringing you a list of the 17 best Tiktok recipes for you to try at home. Why don’t you video yourself making them? Or alternatively, just enjoy them in the private comfort of your own home.

1. Angel Milk

angel milk

Nothing fancy here, much like Tiktok, really. We aren’t quite sure how angel milk became a viral sensation. After all, the only things in it are milk, sugar, and vanilla extract?

That said, for all our moaning, it is actually really nice. You can accessorize it with whatever you want. Glitter, honey, cinnamon? The list goes on and on!

2. Dalgona Coffee

There’s a good chance that you’ve tried Dalgona coffee under a different name, and if you haven’t, you are in for a treat! Dalgona coffee is also known simply as ‘whipped’ coffee. The milk is foamed before coffee, and other ingredients are added.

Because Tiktok videos are really short, you have to cram a lot in. Fortunately, it is possible with this delicious drink as it only has three basic ingredients!

3. Baked Feta Pasta

baked feta pasta

Our regular readers will know that we absolutely adore a simple dish. It doesn’t get simpler than this. Provided you know how to boil a pan of pasta, you’ll be able to have this whipped up in under 5 minutes.

It is literally combining penne pasta, cherry tomatoes, a healthy crumbling of white and salty feta, and topping it off with some basil, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Bake the entire lot in the oven until the tomatoes go all sweet and mushy. Job done!

4. Vegan Bacon

Err, wait, what?

Listen. Don’t knock it until you have tried it. The main thing that stops us from going full vegan is that we love a bacon sandwich on a Sunday morning.

The sad thing is with this dish, we actually have no excuses! Ok, so it doesn’t taste exactly like bacon, but it isn’t far off. The basis of this dish is actually carrots! If you want to add texture, taste, and crunch to your breakfast (or maybe even a burger) and want to cut out the meat, then vegan bacon could be the way to go?

5. Tortilla Wrap

One thing we do love about Tiktok is how quick the recipes are. Often you’ll find the occasional ‘hack’ hiding, provided you’ve scrolled enough.

The Tiktok tortilla wrap is an example of a hack that is actually great. If you are ever tired of your filling falling out of the bottom of your tortilla, you need to give this a try. We won’t look at tortilla folding in the same way again. You can fill it with whatever you like. Our favorite is chipotle beef, or perhaps some pulled pork and crunchy slaw… Or both.

6. Pancake Cereal

Look. We love pancakes, and we love cereal. Alright? Tiktok has brought us a little bit of joy as it has allowed us to combine both together.

Want a top tip? Don’t use milk. Instead, a nice drizzle of maple syrup combined with some butter and maybe a sliced banana will be easily enough to keep you well-fed until lunchtime!

If you want to go for a super opulent taste, feel free to add a splash of heavy cream.

7. Cloud Bread

cloud bread

The kids will love this one. This bread, made famous by Tiktok, only needs three ingredients. Where does the name come from?

Well, aside from being super light and fluffy, it will have a blue line running through the center if you make it right. Ok, if we squint a bit, we suppose it does look like a layer of blue sky sandwiched between two clouds. This is a very sweet bread.

We’d compare it to donuts more than anything else. Its fluffiness comes from the inclusion of egg whites which are beaten into stiff peaks before being mixed and baked.

8. Twisted Bacon

Ever felt like social media is reinventing the wheel. Well, this is a story with a twist, literally. There isn’t much to this recipe. In fact, it is just bacon.

It doesn’t matter how big your bacon is. It is what you do with it that counts. The aim is to twist the bacon uniformly. And you don’t need to be sizzling over a hot pan either. These are cooked in the oven, making them go all uniformly crispy.

Because they are oven-baked, you can make a huge batch in one go. They are great party food and can be used for dips. We occasionally like to drizzle ours with maple syrup for candied twisted bacon. Get that trending in your kitchen for sure!

9. Garden Focaccia

Everyone knows that focaccia eaten outside tastes the best. But what about when it looks like a garden? You can let your creative juices flow if you decide to make this. Emblazoned on the top of this Italian flatbread is a smorgasbord of color and taste.

Make sunflowers, daisies, pansies, or whatever you like. Because the top ‘picture’ is made of edible ingredients, you’ll enjoy the look and taste of this dish. It seems almost a shame to cut into it and eat it… Almost.

10. Corn Ribs

Like most Tiktok recipes, this is a simple recipe that doesn’t require anything fancy or new… Provided you are at least a little bit handy with a knife.

This is another great vegetarian alternative. The ‘ribs’ are formed by cutting a corncob into quarters before baking or grilling.

As they bake, they curl slightly, forming little ribs. How you top them is up to you. We love to make a Mexican elote style dressing of butter, chili, lime juice, and cilantro.

You can also serve them with a ranch-style dip if you are making tex-mex.

11. Hot Cocoa Bombs

Part drink, part dessert, this is one that you will definitely want to try when the weather turns cold. Think of it a little like a bath bomb.

You add hot liquid, the chocolate dissolves, and you are left with a creamy, warm, and ridiculously sweet drink that will make your toes curl!

For an even nicer treat, fill your bomb with tasty sweet treats like jelly beans, marshmallows, or different colored chocolate.

12. Adult Capri Sun

Ever remember walking around as a kid with a little orange drink in a bag? Capri suns were the taste of summer. The good news is that you can make an adults version.

Not only is it to scale size-wise, but it will have you running around the playground shouting wildly. Why? Because it contains proper grown-up wine.

The ‘bag’ is actually a pack of frozen summer fruits. This is topped off with a small (or big) splash of summery white wine. Because you are mixing it with other flavorful fruits, you don’t need to go too expensive on the wine.

We find the most refreshing is something like a slightly sharp and sweet white zinfandel, but you can add whichever wine you see fit.

13. Pesto Eggs

If you cook your eggs right, they are heavenly in the morning. A nice soft yoke, when cut into, acts as nature’s own sauce for so many dishes. IS there any way to make eggs better?

In fact, yes, there is. You may or may not know, but pesto is jam-packed full of oil… Alongside basil, parmesan, and pinenuts.

This makes us the ideal alternatives to cooking oil. In fact, we’d say it is even better. Just heat some pesto in a skillet before adding your egg. Be sure to flick some of the pesto up onto the unset egg white. It cooks in as the pan heats! We’ll fight you for the crispy bits. This is the taste of heaven!

14. Ranch Pickles

Is there anyone in the world who doesn’t have a half-eaten jar of dill pickles sat around at the bottom of their store cupboard?

There’s a reason why they are still there. Pickles on their own can be just a little meh.

Looking for a way to reinvigorate them and bring them up to the level of your new favorite snack? It is so easy. By watching Tiktok, we were able to pick up this quick hack.

Try and get hold of some ranch seasoning. Tip it into the jar with the pickle water and give it a shake like your life depended on it.

Leave it for a little while until those gorgeous ranch flavors soak into the pickle. That’s just about it! You can eat these as a snack, but we’ve found that adding a few to burgers takes them to a whole new level.

15. Pickled Garlic

There are several ingredients in life that we just can’t do without. One of them is garlic. The other Sriracha sauce. After seeing this viral video on Tiktok, we decided that combining the two might make for the world’s first super ingredient! You’ll need a jar of pickled garlic to start with.

Add some sriracha sauce, a few chiil flakes, and some fresh (or dried) thyme. Unlike with our ranch pickle recipe, you don’t leave the vinegar in the jar.

In fact, you replace it with lashings of sweet and spicy sriracha. Be sure to give the jar a good shake to make sure that the ingredients are fully mixed.

16. Blended Baked Oats

Do you want to know a few secrets in making the flavor of oats really pop and stand out? Baking oats causes them to roast slightly.

We wish you could stand in our kitchen while we are making these. The smell is divine. That said, you could just make them yourself.

The trick to this recipe, as the name suggests, is to blend the oats first. This makes them much smoother and increases their surface area, meaning they soak up liquid and flavor much more readily!

While oats are often considered a healthy dish, we like to make ours just a little bit naughty! How? Simple. We add dollops of Nutella along with lashings of maple syrup (and a mashed banana for sweetness).

We’ll be honest, this is more like a cake than a breakfast dish, but ssshhhh. If you want to have an oatey, chocolatey banana bread for your breakfast, your secret is safe with us!

17. Japanese Souffle Pancakes

Pancakes are nothing new, right. Right? Au contraire our friends, you haven’t ever tried a proper pancake until you have given these a go.

If you make them right, they come out about the same thickness as your hand (at the very least, sometimes they are thicker!).

There are two keys that you must remember if you want to make these light and fluffy pancakes. You will need to beat egg whites like you have never beaten them before. Forget soft peaks. You are looking for something that is almost as solid as a marshmallow.

The second tip we have is to add just a little bit of baking powder. This fizzes, making carbon dioxide which makes tiny air bubbles in your batter.

These combine to make something that looks a mouthful but is surprisingly delicate. Serve your pancakes with the usual accompaniments. Ours is bacon, maple syrup, oh and cream. Lots of cream!
