It’s about time you join in on this coffee craze and make an ultra-rich, creamy and fluffy homemade dalgona coffee using nothing but coffee, sugar, and milk. From instagram to Tik Tok this coffee sure is the new craze.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons 2 instant coffee

  • 2 tablespoons 2 of granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons 2 boiling water

  • 1 cup 1 of milk

  • a pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)

Directions

  • First, prepare the top creamy whipped coffee mixture by mixing all the ingredients. To do so, take a bowl and add sugar, coffee and boiling water as per the amounts mentioned above.
  • Now you need an electric hand mixer, or you can also place the mixing bowl in the stand mixer. Remember, the texture we require for this coffee does not come easily, and it needs machine whipping to achieve. You cannot get the same results by whipping with your hands.
  • Now that coffee, sugar, and water are in the bowl, start beating these ingredients together at high speed. Beat this coffee mixture for about 2 minutes until it starts to turn into a foam-like texture, and it also changes its color.
  • Scrap the coffee whip from the side of the bowl and keep it aside for serving.
  • Make sure to taste the coffee mixture and add more sugar if needed, then whip again to mix. Remember, the coffee is later diluted with milk to keep the sugar content accordingly.
  • It’s time to prepare the milk for the serving. Take a cup or 8-ounce glass to add for the serving. You can choose any milk if not the animal milk, it can be oat milk or soy and almond milk as well.
  • If you want to keep the coffee chilled, then add 3-4 ice cubes to the milk and then lastly top the milk with the prepared coffee whipped mixture.
  • Stir the top with a straw or spoon to make swirls on top of the milk.
  • Take a snap and share it with others before enjoying your rich and creamy Dalgona coffee at home.

FAQs

How Can I Make Whipped Coffee Without a Handheld Blender?

A stand mixer is another way of whipping the coffee with sugar and water in a mixing. All the electric mixers make this work easier and quickly whips the coffee. You can mix it with an ordinary mixer, but it will not give quick results, and the froth you will get from this will not stay for long. It is better to make this coffee when you have any small or big beater at home. And when you beat the coffee well, make sure to serve it immediately to keep the fluff on top because it reduces with time.

Which Type of Milk Should I Use Hot or Cold?

That depends entirely on you and your mood; if its cold outside and you feel like having a warm cup of coffee, then you can use hot milk to serve the whipped coffee. Or can use cold and chilled milk to enjoy an iced whipped coffee. Once you have brought the milk and whipped coffee together in a serving glass, serve it immediately.

Can I Make Whipped Coffee Without the Sugar?

Yes, you can make a whipped coffee without the sugar but let me tell you that the unsweetened version of this coffee does not taste very as good, it turns out to be quite strong and bitter in taste. Even though the texture of the whipped topping remains to be the same, but it goes away quickly in 5 minutes without the addition of sugar to the coffee. You can reduce the sugar to some extent to reduce the sweetness, but I would not recommend to completely omit the sugar from the recipe.

Can I Add Low Carb Sweeteners to Make Whipped Coffee?

Yes, if the low carb sweetener you are using is available in the granulated form, then you can add any to the recipe to enjoy the same level sweetness without the extra carbohydrates. Granulated monk-fruit, swerve, and erythritol sweeteners are a few good options in this regard. Use these sweeteners according to their degree of sweetness.

Which Instant Coffee Should I Use?

Nescafe classic will always be my first choice when it comes to choosing an instant coffee. It is due to the good and quality flavor of this coffee that I prefer using it in every other coffee recipe. It is best to enjoy decaf coffee, which is not possible when we use a brewed coffee.

Conclusion
