How to Serve, Store, and Freeze KFC Mac and Cheese

KFC Mac and Cheese is best enjoyed when eaten immediately, while still hot. Even though you can eat it cold after two hours, it’s best when eaten right away.

If there are any leftovers, you can store them up to four days. However, you may want to reheat it with some milk before eating. Add one tablespoon at a time to make it creamy once again.

When it comes to freezing your Mac and Cheese, we don’t recommend it. The macaroni will become gummy and the sauce will separate when defrosted.

KFC Mac and Cheese Famous Bowls

Here’s how to make these delightful, easy cheese bowls:

Popcorn Chicken – KFC uses chicken bites with thick, crunchy breading for their Famous Bowls. You can use the Tyson frozen brand to make this bowl as close to theirs as possible.

3-Cheese Blend – a combination of equal parts of Monterey Jack Cheese, Mild Cheddar Cheese, and Low Moisture Mozzarella.

Spicy Mac – KFC uses a Nashville Hot Sauce for their Spicy Famous Bowl. To make the sauce, whisk ½ cup vegetable oil, ½ teaspoon garlic salt, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar, and 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper. Pour the sauce over your Mac and Cheese bowl.

If you’re a fan of KFC Mac and Cheese, this is the best copycat recipe you can find. You can now make this popular comfort food in your own home and enjoy it with your entire family for breakfast or dinner.

The recipe is quick and easy to prepare and requires several simple ingredients. The secret to the perfect Mac and Cheese is the thick, rich, creamy, cheesy sauce, so make sure you follow the instructions when making it.
