Hands up, who doesn’t love dessert? No one? We thought so! Well, dessert is about to get even better. We’ve come up with a list of 31 instant pot desserts for you to try. Check them out.

Easy Instant Pot Desserts At Home

1. Instant Pot Cake

A chewy and fudgy cake that takes only a few minutes to prepare? Where do we sign up? The best thing about this recipe is that it is vegan too. The hardest part about this dessert is the prep. We like to make a ‘sling’ out of kitchen foil so that the cake is easy to lift out once it is cooked. 35 minutes later, you’ll be presented with a gloriously light and tasty sponge.

2. Instant Pot Cherry Dump Cake

Cherry pie is an all-around favorite that goes with just about anything (our favorite is a huge dollop of vanilla ice cream). It’s called dump cake because you literally dump all of the ingredients and leave it to cook. Minimal prep, maximum taste. Sounds good to us

3. Instant Pot Apple Sauce

Apple sauce is great because you can serve it with lots of different things. One of our favorites is with a heap of toasted homemade granola, but it also goes well with fruit pies and pancakes. You can even go down the savory route and save a little to use next time you make roasted pork!

4. Instant Pot Pumpkin Pie

Desserts don’t come much more classic than pumpkin pie. Well, it just got a whole lot easier. Combining elements such as sugar and cinnamon with sweet cubes of delicious pumpkin! This recipe is quite filling, so you’ll want to serve small portions. It goes really dense and moist in the instant pot. Just how we like it!

5. Instant Pot Cheesecake

A cheesecake from just two ingredients? You’ve got to be kidding me? Alright, that is the crustless version, but with a cup of nuts and a few handfuls of dates, you can make that pretty easily too! This will literally take you 5 minutes to make. This one is a real dessert on the go.

6. Oreo Cheesecake

This is another recipe that relies on making a foil hammock to ease the cooking process. Add your ingredients, cook for the allotted time and lift it out. Job done! Oreos do most of the heavy lifting in this recipe. Aside from the cookies, you should easily find everything you need in the cupboard.

7. Apple Crisp

We aren’t sure, but this might be the best apple crumble we have ever tasted. The apples stew the topping from underneath to make a crispy and slightly gooey topping. With sugar and cinnamon, you get lots of classic flavors that work so well with apples. Don’t tell anyone, but we sometimes leave a portion for breakfast!

8. Instant Pot Strawberry Cake

Chewy, dense, and super sweet, this cake isn’t for the faint-hearted. We love how you can pretty much throw the ingredients in, and a short time later, you are presented with a cake that looks like a piece of red and white marble! The best bit is that there are no fancy ingredients! You can even swap the fruit!

9. Hot Chocolate

Dessert or drink? Who cares? It is delicious! This is the perfect dessert to start off before you go for a wintery walk. When you get home, the house smells amazing, and you are rewarded with a steaming cup of sweet chocolate! We like to top ours with whipped cream, but all on its own is just as good!

10. Instant Pot Chocolate Strawberries

When melting chocolate, you normally have to keep an eye on it, as once it boils, it can split and turn pretty bitter. With an instant pot, you don’t need to worry about this. Feel free to change out the fruit, too, chocolate-covered bananas or chocolate-covered strawberries… We don’t know which is better?

11. Chocolate Chip Cake

Basically, the non-crunchy version of chocolate chip cookies. This delightful dessert goes really well with a nice cup of coffee… In fact, it goes well with a nice cup of anything. It is super-rich and pretty dense. We challenge you to try and eat more than two slices@

12. Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Wait, what? Yes, that’s right, iced coffee in an instant pot. Ok so, it doesn’t cool your coffee down. Still, an electric pressure cooker means that you get a really strong concentrated coffee which is perfect for blending with other drinks. You can use this concentrate to flavor loads of things. Our favorite is ice cream!

13. Instant Pot Cinnamon Poached Pears

Using a pressure cooker forces moisture into your food. We can think of no better use for this than poaching pears. Even nicer when you consider that we use white wine in the recipe. You know what we are saying… A glass for the pot and glass for the chef. Happy days!

14. Apple Cider

Speaking of glasses of naughty things. How’s about this? It’s for grownups only. The warmth will take away any chill and add a little splash of something to keep that chill away! IT is possible to make a virgin version of this drink without losing any flavor. We like spicy elements, including black pepper and fresh ginger, to give it a fiery kick.

15. Strawberry Sauce

Stewing down fruit and sugar can take some time. Not anymore. Let the instant pot do the work with this recipe. Because it is high in sugar, it stores really well and can be brought out to enliven pretty much any dessert. We serve it with scones, pancakes, and ice cream, to name but a few. It’s a great recipe for using up leftover fruit that is too ripe.

16. Instant Pot Pumpkin Bread

If you’ve ever had cornbread, this is a slightly sweeter version. It is really rich and quite dense. We love the vibrant yellow color of this bread. It isn’t quite sweet but isn’t savory either, so it will make an ideal accompaniment for a range of dishes.

17. Dulce de Leche

I’m trying to think of another sauce that is as versatile as dulce de leche. It goes with anything. The only downside is that it normally is quite time-consuming to make. With a few simple steps, you can leave an instant pot to do all of the work in much less time. Use this for cakes, as a topping or a dip! The choice is yours!

18. Rice Krispy Treats

A little chewy and a little crispy? What could be nicer? We like to pimp up our rice Krispy treats by adding a few m&ms. We’d tell you that these would keep for days, so make the ideal snack to take to work… except they’ll be gone before the end of the weekend. Using only 4 simple ingredients, you can make these at home in minutes!

19. Instant Pot Donuts

These donuts aren’t made entirely in the instant pot, but it still manages to cut your cooking time significantly. How? Well, this recipe relies on yeast as a leavening agent. Yeast loves warm conditions and works so much quicker… If only we had somewhere temperature-controlled and warm… Like an instant pot. Donuts are really versatile. Will you go for a simple sugar coating or something fancy like chocolate and sprinkles?

20. Instant Pot Baked Apples

There’s something about stewed apples that is just so wholesome. When combined with crunchy pecans and juicy raisins, they are a taste sensation. When cooked under pressure, apples take on a real sweetness. We use large cooking apples when we are feeding a crowd.

21. Nutella Bites

Chewy, chocolaty, and super sweet. We guarantee you’ll have some leftovers. Not because they aren’t delicious, but you will fall into a carb and sugar coma! Serve these sparingly. It is impossible to eat more than three! They are a little like truffles but heavier. They go really well with a hot and slightly bitter coffee.

22. Oatmeal and Raisin Cookies

Who would have thought that you can make cookies in a pressure cooker? These cookies gently steam until they are set. They are also pretty waistline-friendly too, as they don’t contain any butter. We replace regular refined sugar with coconut sugar to keep it even lower in the calorie department.

23. Lemon Cake

Is there anyone who doesn’t love a thick slice of lemon cake? Traditionally baked lemon cakes can sometimes get just a little dry. Because you are trapping moisture in your instant pot, you get a light, fluffy cake that is really moist and jam-packed full of citrusy goodness! The secret lies in the glaze, nail this, and you’ll have clean plates in no time!

24. Peanut Butter Cake, Instant Pot Style

Ok, so your instant pot won’t explode, well, it will, but only with flavor. These molten cakes are slightly crisp on the outside but are filled with an oozy layer of slightly savory peanut butter. They are great for dinner parties; when you are trying to wow your guests, they won’t expect it. Serve with a dollop of super cold ice cream and let the flavors mix together.

25. Gingerbread Pudding Cake

If fiddling with perfect-looking dishes isn’t your style, then you need to see this. Serve this hot in a small dish with a lashing of heavy cream. It looks a mess, and it tastes divine. This isn’t one for the neat freaks. The batter caramelizes as it cooks to make a heavy and fudgy dessert that is utterly divine!

26. Bread Pudding

If you think bread pudding sounds dull, it’s because you haven’t tasted it! The key to this recipe lies in the sauce. Rum and raisin are one of the best combinations ever. It only gets better when it is soaked up by layers of sweet bread and raisins. Apparently, this recipe is even better if you use stale bread. Who knew?

27. Peach Dump Cake

Another dump cake makes our list. Peaches tend to sit unripe for days, and then they go too far. If this is the case, then check this one out. It takes about 5 minutes to set up, and from there, you end up with a sort of cobble cake that is laden with juicy chunks of sweet peaches. Extra points are awarded if you serve with whipped cream!

28. Instant Pot Banoffee Pie

Sickly sweet? Yeah, we don’t think that’s a bad thing! Banoffee pie is always a hit, and this can be made in an instant. The riper your bananas, the better. We tend to use bananas that are way past their best. Add in some dolce du Leche and perhaps a dollop of whipped cream, and you’ve got something that is huge in taste.

29. Arroz Con Leche

What on earth does that mean? Simply rice with milk. Or, as you might know, it, rice pudding. This uses two kinds of milk and takes its sweetness from condensed milk. The best thing is it can be served hot or cold, perfect for taking to work.

30. Instant Pot Pumpkin Cake

Can you tell we love desserts made with pumpkin? As with our instant pot pumpkin bread, this recipe is golden and delicious. We love to top ours off with a chocolate ganache and a few chocolate shavings. Make it as a bundt cake to ensure that it is evenly cooked.

31. Instant Pot Brownies

Nobody likes a dry and brittle brownie. Oozy and fudgy is where it is at. An instant pot ensures consistency time and time again. Be sure to cover your batter in foil. This prevents liquid and steam from seeping in, which will cause your brownies to split.

Conclusion

An instant pot ensures a few things. It stops desserts from drying out and can mean that they cook quicker with less effort. What’s not to love. We were amazed at some of the dishes that popped up in our list of 31 instant pot desserts. What was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
