Mozzarella-Crusted Chicken with Blistered Tomatoes and Potato Wedges

A quick recipe and tasty? Where do we sign up? We love chicken, we love mozzarella, and we love wedges. What more is there to say?

The good news is that once you’ve made this recipe, you’ll have the secret. It is only 7 ingredients in total, and none of them are hard to source, meaning you can have a hello fresh recipe any night of the week!

Hearty Steak and Potatoes with Balsamic-Cranberry Pan Sauce

Steak is perhaps one of our favorite ‘treat’ meals. And when it is this good, it really is a treat! While steak and potatoes are very tasty, they can look a little plain when plonked on a plate.

The answer? Hello fresh brightens it up with some sweet and vibrant red cabbage and a balsamic sauce that works wonderfully to offset the umami goodness of the meat.

Spanish One-Pan Chicken

We have always been a fan of one-pan meals. It goes something like this, assemble in the pan. Cook. That’s about it! When it is delivered to your door, it is even better! That said, seeing as this is full of simple and easily sourced ingredients, there is no reason why you can’t make a hello fresh recipe at home. The chorizo in this dish is what makes it.

Sweet Potato and Black Bean Tacos

Hello fresh caters to all tastes. Literally, If they do it, so should you, so don’t forget to include vegetarian dishes on your hello fresh menu.

This happens to be one of our favorites. Sweet potatoes are really filling and flavorful (we like to roast ours until they start to turn just a little brown).

When combined with Mexican favorites, such as black beans and all topped off with opulent avocado, this is one filling and tasty taco.

Salsa Verde Chicken Enchiladas

Part wraps, part-baked dishes, enchiladas are lovingly referred to in our house as ‘Mexican lasagne’. This dish does require a little prep, but believe us when we say it is worth it.

We like our hot sauce crema to be properly hot, but if you prefer a milder dish, feel free to tone the chili down slightly.

Salsa verde literally translates to ‘green sauce’, you can use store-bought, but we find it much nicer if you assemble your own.

Chicken Pineapple Quesadilla

We’ve never come across a chicken pineapple before… Is it a new breed? No joking aside, this dish is the taste of heaven. Shredded chicken, punctuated with little golden cubes of sweet-tasting perfection. As the pineapple cooks, it caramelizes and takes on an almost savory note. You could also try this dish with other fruit if you don’t have a pineapple knocking around.

Tropical Fish Tacos with Mango Cabbage Slaw and Chipotle Crema

Fish tacos are about as good as it gets. But you don’t want a taco full of boring, bland white fish, so we need to add a splash of color with some shredded red cabbage, carrots, and a good helping of mayonnaise. Make it truly Mexican with some smoky and fiery chipotle!

Sausage and Roasted Bell Pepper Pasta with Creamy Parmesan Garlic Tomato Sauce

After a hard day at work, you’re going to want something tasty, colorful, and filling… It helps that this is stupidly easy to make.

The sauce isn’t complicated. It’s three ingredients. If you want to make your sauce a little creamier, add butter, a little pasta water, and some shredded hard Italian cheese.

Zucchini Pomodoro Penne Bake with Mozzarella & Herbed Ricotta

Don’t worry vegetarians, we haven’t forgotten you! Pasta is nice, but it can get a bit bland. Adding zucchini gives both color and taste.

This is part ratatouille, part Italian. We shred the zucchini and combine it with tomato sauce. From there, it is simply a case of adding a little ricotta or cream cheese to make this dish all oozy and delicious.

Italian Garden Veggie Soup with Kale, Pearled Couscous & Garlic Bread

If you’ve got a cold, the last thing you want to be doing is cooking. Luckily this recipe takes all of 15 minutes to make and is hearty and filling.

While Hello Fresh uses specific veg in their recipe, we’ve tried it with all sorts of things (normally found at the back of the fridge).

We are pleased to report no real change in taste (to be fair, that could have been the cold).

Zucchini & Tomato Flatbreads with Lemon Ricotta, Fresh Herbs, Honey & Chili Flakes

Flatbreads have to be one of our favorite meals. Assemble, bake, job done. We prefer to use store-bought flatbreads to save time, but if you’ve got some pizza dough left over, this could work too. Let the ricotta melt and enjoy the oozy goodness!

Chipotle-Rubbed Chicken Salad

Chicken salad. Boring? Hell no! Hello Fresh pimp theirs up with a spicy chipotle rub. If they do it, then so should you! If you are watching the calories, then this is great.

A lump of protein, some calorie sparse veggies, and a six-pack! Sounds ideal to us!

Mexican Chicken and Rice Bowl

Big portions are what Mexican is all about, and after this, we guarantee that you will be full to bursting. If you want a big family dinner, this Hello Fresh recipe is about as good as it gets. Golden rice, juicy chicken are all brought together with pepper and onions.

Chicken Gyro Couscous Bowls with Hummus

This is delicately spiced chicken grilled to perfection and then sliced into thin strips. We serve it with a Mediterranean-style salad. The entire dish is topped off with cubes of salty feta and a little sour cream. It is hearty, filling, and utterly delicious.

BBQ Cheddar Pork Burgers

We can never say no to a good burger. When it is made with ground pork, it is even better. Pork is a bit richer than beef. We are sure you won’t be able to eat more than one! We love to serve our burgers in a brioche bun. The sweetness acts as a really nice counter to the salty pork!

Beefy Taco Casserole with Mixed Green Salad

A taco casserole? Why not? You save time as the taco doesn’t have to be particularly neat, and you can bake it in the oven, meaning that you can get on with other things. We use ground beef in our tacos, but this Hello Fresh recipe also works with vegetarian options.

Eggs Benedict

We think this might be our favorite lazy Sunday breakfast. A breakfast muffin, crispy bacon all topped with an oozy poached egg! Oh, don’t forget the buttery hollandaise sauce, either. It’s up to you whether you include asparagus. In fact, you could use this as a bacon substitute or have both!

Sesame Beef Tacos with Quick-Pickled Veggies and Chili Sour Cream

Holy smokes, we love beef tacos! This is a fusion dish that mixes east and west. The west comes from the taco the east comes from the sesame beef, which is very oriental in style. Quick pickled veggies feature heavily on Korean menus, making the dish, so be sure not to leave it out.

Pork and Veggie Bibimbap with Zucchini, Carrots & Jasmine Rice

Bibimbap is another Korean dish that we love. White rice, cooked to perfection, topped with meat, vegetables, and maybe even a drizzle of sriracha? While we use ground pork in this Hello Fresh recipe, you can also try it with other meats like sliced steak or shredded chicken.

Indian Stuffed Peppers with Curried Beef & Garam Masala-scented Rice

Want to impress dinner party guests (while secretly going to the minimal effort?) This looks fancy, but it is surprisingly easy. We stuff halved peppers with a beef keema, a few juicy peas, and shredded carrots before baking for around half an hour. It is so easy.

Curried Cauliflower & Potatoes with Green Peas

We love a curry, but it isn’t waistline-friendly… Until we tried this. Cauliflower is fulling, easy to prepare, and packed full of vitamins. It also happens to be vegetarian! You won’t need too many fancy spices. Cumin, curry powder, chili, and some coriander are all it takes.

Coconut Curry Chicken with Kale over Basmati Rice

There’s something about coconut milk that we love. It adds a sweet richness to any dish, especially curry! The spice mix is simple too, and we are sure you’ll have all the necessary ingredients in your store cupboard at home. Chilli, curry powder, paprika, and tomato puree! No problem!

Sweet & Spicy Szechuan Veggie Stir-Fry with Ginger Bulgur & a Fried Egg

For those unfamiliar, Szechuan is quite similar to sweet and sour with a fiery kick! While you can use meat in this recipe, we prefer to keep it vegetarian, using thick pearls of bulgar wheat to make up the bulk of the dish. Be sure to top with a perfect fried egg for a little extra protein!

Szechuan Pork & Green Bean Stir-Fry with Candied Peanuts & Jasmine Rice

The sauce is similar to our last selection. What makes this dish is the inclusion of candied peanuts that add both crunch, sweetness, and taste! Use good quality pork fillet to stop the dish from tasting a little dry. Top with shredded green onions for the ultimate presentation.

Pork Katsu with Sesame Roasted Carrots & Ginger Rice

Katsu has to be our favorite inspired dish. Hello, Fresh doesn’t disappoint. A sliced and breaded pork cutlet, accompanied with steamed white rice and sweet roasted carrots? The Katsu curry sauce is easy to make, too, with only four common ingredients. You need to check this one out.

Chicken Tabbouleh Bowls with Cilantro & Creamy Feta Sauce

Mediterranean dishes are a complete meal, and this Hello Fresh recipe is no exception. Tasty grains, cilantro, and a chicken breast grilled to perfection, then sliced! It is vibrant, colorful, and super tasty! Make sure you use good quality harissa paste to get the best taste, (hey that rhymes)!

Moo Shu Pork Bowls with Cabbage, Scallions & Buttery Rice

No points for presentation, but an award for the best tasting Hello Fresh recipe out there. Ground pork, acidic cabbage are all topped with a sweet Thai-inspired sauce. Don’t forget to add a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an authentic look.

Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto with Meyer Lemon and Parmesan

The key to risotto is adding a small amount of liquid at a time. Provided you follow this step, your dish will be perfect! Lemon always seems to work so well with rice; throw in a few shrimp and some Italian cheese, and this dish could be perfect.

Chicken Sausage & White Bean Soup with Cheesy Garlic Ciabatta Toasts

Ok, the recipe calls for chicken sausage. But any sausage you have to hand will do. Garlic ciabatta toasts are super easy to make as well. If you haven’t got a ciabatta, just opt for regular bread. It’s up to you whether you dunk or not… The ciabatta soaks up the soup really well!

Sun-Dried Tomato Spaghetti with Fresh Herbs, Almonds & Parmesan

If you prefer light pasta dishes, then this Hello Fresh recipe could be the one. Sun-dried tomatoes are sweet and slightly tangy. We combine this with sweet almonds and hard Italian cheese for something which tastes positively sublime.

Mushroom & Chive Risotto Swirled with Garlic Herb Butter

Mushrooms are juicy and succulent. Add some garlic butter, and we are in heaven. Combine this with one of the best risottos we’ve ever tasted and a few chopped chives, and you’ll be inclined to agree. This takes all of 15 minutes to make. Why not give it a go?
