This No Bake Oreo Cheesecake recipe is brought to you directly from my kitchen to yours. I love a dessert that simply melts in your mouth delivering satisfaction with each bite. Made with just a few necessary ingredients! It’s so silky smooth and loaded with chunks of Oreos. The perfect no bake dessert for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 (19.1 oz) pack of oreo cookies

  • 6-7 tbsps of melted butter

  • 4 packages 4 Philadelphia Cream-cheese – (8oz)

  • 3/4 cup 3/4 sugar

  • 1 tsp 1 of vanilla extract

  • 1 cup 1 cup of heavy whipping cream (divided)

  • Optional
  • 1/2 a cup of white chocolate-chips

Directions

  • Take some of the Oreo cookies, say 15, in a transparent Ziploc bag. Then smash it into small pieces. But be gentle and don’t turn everything into powdered dust. Crunchy crumbles produce the ideal texture for this recipe. So you better keep some big chunks. The transparent bag will allow you to check the condition of the cookies and stop at the right moment. Now set it aside.
  • Now place the remaining cookies in a food processor and make them into a fine crust.
  • Now we come to the finely crushed Oreo cookies. Add a little melted butter to it so that the crust sticks together and doesn’t fall apart. Without the butter, the crush will crumble down and cannot set the cake.
  • Mix the crumbs and butter in the food processor and thus the base of the cheesecake is made.
  • Take the crust out in a bowl and add melted butter if required. Now place this mixture in a 9-inch pan and press them evenly to form the base. Remember the filler will be placed on the base so make sure to even it out completely. We recommend you to spray some non-stick cooking spray or simply rub some melted butter with a spatula on the pan. You may also use parchment paper. These steps will help you to easily remove the cake.
  • Now pour the base on the pan and refrigerate it for one hour.
  • Here comes the best part. It’s the time to make the filling. Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. We prefer powder sugar as it easily mixes and doesn’t retain any granule. If you don’t want to spend extra bucks on powder sugar, simply buy granule or regular sugar and make its powder in a mixer grinder.
  • Beat all the items in a smooth filling. However, make sure not to pour too much vanilla extract into the filling as it will make the taste bitter. You may choose to use a hand mixer or an electric mixer in order to produce a smooth filling.
  • Before mixing, make sure that the cream cheese is softened. This not only reduces your effort to beat the filling and smoothen out but ensures that the batter comes with a smooth, creamy and nice texture. This is why you should preferably take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator sometime before making the cake.
  • Now you need to stir the whipped cream and chopped cookies, so as to produce a creamy and crunchy texture. Remember, an Oreo cheesecake is about the taste as well as the texture and appearance. So you need to take care of the decoration and ensure the texture is proper. However, don’t be worried that you need to be an efficient pro or professional to make an Oreo cheesecake. This is an easy task and an amateur hand can easily do it.
  • Now place the cheesecake inside the refrigerator to chill down and be set. Keep it in the refrigerator for about 4 hours. However, we recommend you to let the cheesecake sit inside the refrigerator overnight.
  • That’s all! Your very own no-bake Oreo cheesecake is ready to be served.

Notes

  • You can garnish the top layer with Oreo crumbles or sliced strawberry, chopped Cadbury, choco chip cookies, blueberry, cashew, or other dry fruits. However, we don’t recommend you to use raisins as these can mar the taste of the Oreo cheesecake. Also, if you are using strawberry, make sure to use in a little amount as it can subdue the flavour of Oreo and cheese with its strong smell.

Below we will also provide you with some extra tips and tricks which will enable you to prepare no-bake Oreo cheesecake like a pro.

Tips and Tricks

Tip 1. If you are inviting guests over to your place and want to serve them the Oreo cheesecake, we suggest you prepare the cake one day before you have invited the guests. Also, don’t cut the cake immediately as it can melt the cheese filling. Rather keep the cheesecake inside the refrigerator for the entire night and serve it chill.

Tip 2. When you are buying Oreo cookies, we recommend you to buy an extra bag. This will allow you to sprinkle the Oreo crumbs on the top. Also, if you want to make the Oreo base in a thick way, you will need extra cookies.

Tip 3. You may pour some chocolate sauce on the top to garnish the Oreo cheesecake and make it look yummy.

Tip 4. Before mixing the filling, ensure to take the cold ingredients like butter or cheese filling out of the refrigerator so that it can be beaten easily and smoothen out.
