The creamy pink beverage can be made in your kitchen using a few simple ingredients. Although it may look like it’s made of rainbows and unicorns, the ingredients are pretty available. They include coconut milk, strawberries, and our personal choice – acai berry tea.

This is one of the things that makes our recipe slightly different than the original, but also more refreshing and cheaper. You’ve got to admit that acai berry tea is far more available and cheaper than the green coffee extract used in the store-bought version, right?

So, even though this recipe has a slight tea taste, it’s better than the original for a number of reasons:

  • It’s healthier as it contains fewer calories and less sugar
  • It’s cheaper
  • You can control the level of sweetness
  • It saves you time
  • You can add more or less of the ingredients to make the perfect drink to your taste

    Tips & Tricks

Here are some things to consider when making this creamy pink drink.

You can customize most of these ingredients to your liking. For example, you can add less white grape juice if you’re not a big fan of it. You can add more coconut milk to make the drink even more creamy.

You can add less of the tea and white grape juice mixture, and more of the coconut milk, or vice versa. It’s your decision.

Also, the agave nectar is optional, so you can add more or less of it depending on how sweet you want your drink to be. You can even completely omit it, or add plenty of it to make it as sweet as the original version. It’s up to you.

You can even use another sweetener instead of agave, such as simple syrup. Avoid using regular sugar as it’ll take longer to melt into the cold beverage.

You can store the drink in your fridge for later, or make extra and serve it later when you need it. This refreshing drink is perfect for guests. It’s definitely something different than ordinary drinks and won’t take you a lot of time to make it. A few minutes and you can wow your guests with some pink magic.
