  • 1 cup 1 red wine

  • 1 1 onion

  • 2 cups 2 beef broth

  • 2 tablespoons 2 Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 cloves 2 garlic

  • 2 tablespoons 2 tomato paste

  • 1 teaspoon 1 black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons 2 salt


  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
  • Take out a large oven-safe pan or a Dutch oven, and sear the brisket on both sides. Make sure that you really lock in the flavors with a good, brown sear, as this will protect the meat and keep the juices inside. Lift the brisket out of the pan and set it to one side.
