  • Frozen Strawberries from your local supermarket.
  • Bananas
  • Ice

With this, add the items into a blender and watch the magic happen. Ideally drink this immediately for optimal enjoyment. You can have this at home or make it for your journey into work.

You can find the strawberries in your freezer section, they are often sold near the frozen fruit. They can come in small square boxes instead of bags like you see a lot of the frozen fruit. This McDonald’s Strawberry Banana Smoothie copycat recipe couldn’t be any easier to make and is just like the real version. You might even think its better if you mix it up and add fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of crushed ice

  • 1 full cup of bananas sliced and diced

  • 2x 10 ounces of frozen strawberries, preferably chopped

Directions

  • Prepare all of your ingredients ensuring they are chopped if not already done so.
  • First of all, add the crushed ice into the blender.
    Place the frozen strawberry and cup of sliced bananas into the blender, along with the crushed ice.
  • Turn on the blender. Blend for 30 seconds, which should do it nicely.
  • Decorate the glass with a strawberry.
  • Copycat recipe complete. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use fresh strawberries either by sprinkling sugar. Place them in the refrigerator to maximise the juices once chopped. Alternatively buy the fruit fresh, chop it up and place it in the freezer until needed.
  • Some recipes include a blend of yogurt, which is an easy ingredient to include at any point. Although its a slight variation from Mcdonald’s restaurant menu. Either way it will still be delicious and creamy.
